Image converting

Use one of the following methods to convert a disc image:

  • Make a disc image using Tools → Convert Image…
  • Click button on the Main Toolbar.
  • Right click on an image in the Image Catalog panel and select Convert Image… [item] from the context menu.
  • Right click program's icon in the system tray and select Tools → Convert Image…

This command allows to convert images to *.mds or *.mdx files. Convert Image… command works with the following source formats:

  • BlindWrite images (*.b5t, *.b6t)
  • BlindRead images (*.bwt)
  • CloneCD images (*.ccd)
  • DiscJuggler images (*.cdi)
  • Cue sheets files (*.cue)
  • Standard ISO images (*.iso)
  • Compressed ISO images (*.isz)
  • Media Descriptor files (*.mds)
  • Media Data eXtended images (*.mdx)
  • Nero images (*.nrg)
  • APE images (*.ape)

Source file name — Use ... button to select the source file via Open dialog or type full image file path manually.

Destination file name — Use ... button to set the destination file via Save As dialog or type full image file path manually.

Image Catalog — This section includes the options which are related to Image Catalog:

  • Add to Image Catalog — Use this option to add a new created destination image to Image Catalog.
  • Name in Image Catalog — Edit this option to define the image name which will be used in Image Catalog.
  • Image Catalog Folder — Use button to set the destination folder in Image Catalog via Select Folder dialog.

Password — This section allows to set a password on a destination image. Fill New password field and repeat the password in Confirm password field. In case the source image is protected with password, you will be prompted to enter a password after click on the Start button. Enable New password option and leave empty both fields to get the destination image without password.

Boot Parameters... — This section contains additional options.
The image can be compressed (Compress image data) and split into several files (Split file) to put it on CD/DVD/Flash Drive. Also you can clear disc sectors range from Start sector to End sector using Clear sectors option.
