Tools menu

Tools menu includes the items for mounting/unmounting image files, adding and removing virtual devices, changing their properties and changing application preferences.

• Make Disc Image… — Select this item in menu or press Ctrl+N to create a new image file.
• Burn Image… — Use this to open Burn Image dialog for the selected image in Image Catalog
• Convert Image… — Select this item if you'd like to convert image file to MDS/MDF or MDX destination files.
• Edit Image… — This menu item is used to open Image Editor window. Image Editor is a special application which is intended to create new images, edit existing ones, save them to specified catalog and burn to discs.
• Erase Disc… — Use this to start Disc Erasing dialog and erase your rewritable disc.
• Virtual Device Manager… — Opens Virtual Device Manager. In opened dialog you can add until 32 virtual drive and turn on the support of IDE. Also you will get access to the settings of DVD Region, mounted folder and letter of drive.

Note: A virtual IDE adapter can be added only in DAEMON Tools Pro Advanced version.

• Preferences… — Opens the Preferences window. You can check or uncheck the needed options, choose a language for program interface, change colors etc.
