File associations

A file association associates a file with an application capable to open that file. In common, a file association associates a class of files (usually determined by their filename extension) with a corresponding application. DAEMON Tools Pro supports the following media image file types:

• BlindWrite images (*.b5t, *.b6t)
• BlindRead images (*.bwt)
• CloneCD images (*.ccd)
• DiscJuggler images (*.cdi)
• Cue sheets files (*.cue)
• Standard ISO images (*.iso)
• Compressed ISO images (*.isz)
• Media Descriptor files (*.mds)
• Media Data eXtended (*.mdx)
• Nero images (*.nrg)
• APE images (*.ape)

Such functionality allows to mount images from Windows Explorer by double clicking on the image file. To select images types, open the Tools → Preferences… and select Integration tab. Then select needed image types and press on Apply. After this you will be able to mount these image file types with double clicking. All file association types will have an icon in Windows Explorer like own icon of DAEMON Tools Pro.
